note that he said slotS not slot and the pre release retail box adds another additional slot if purchased for 3 merged slots instead of 2.

Actually, I do have a serious question though. Will more than 1 preorder package net you more than one bonus character slot on one account? I got my Factions preorder for like $1 out of a clearance bin. If I could find preorder packs for cheaper than what they sell character slots for in the online store, would picking up more than one worth it?

I have 10 slots of GW one for each class I made 2 necros that why i have 9 and i still have 1 PvP slot.

Most of my chars are level 20 4 of those are 100% profecies and 100% facions campains.

the rest are just factions i have to move them to tyria.

for some reason i dont consider my self noob on any profecion i made, but i can tell i have masterd the NECRO class, all the others id say im an expert.
OHH and i find more fun doing PvE than Pvp.

hmmm... so you get all that With the purchase of the game, only... u get it BEFORE the release???? OMG it looks strangely like a prerelease box to me (sorta like the 1 got with factions that gave me the cool weapons and such, and the (was it 1 or 2) day headstart)

it certainly does look like it and if it does turn out this way i will start cheering.

GW said sept 15 for release of it which would give an extra slot for the PVE weekend event as well.........hummm.

note that with gamestop and their bonuses at times you have to email them so they ship out the pre things at the right time instead all together

2.Prophecies (in addition to base)
-Acess to Tyrian continent for PvE
-Access to Prophecies skillset
-2 Char slots

-Access to Faction skill set
-Access to Assassains and Ritualists

Looking at the product on Gamestop (and EBGames - apparently one of them bought out the other because the products are the same) - it says the PreRelease Bonus is included in your prerelease order for the game.

And since the only real substance beyond previous preorder packages is the extra slot I will guess they decided to start calling it a prerelease package instead of preorder.

Additionally, the Press Release states you only get the bonus slot with your Nightfall account, so you won't get it before your Nightfall retail key is put in.

Anyone still btching about slots needs to go play out in the sun for a while to clear their heads. They set precedent for giving only 2 additional slots for 2 new professions, they gave you the option to buy more slots if you really want them - heck they are giving you a bonus slot if you buy the Nightfall Prerelease. Chill out.

Well thanks for the replys and clarifying. I know I just did a quick search for threads like mine. Personally I just want 2 slots one for each new class. Other than that its all good :P

Well, using a PvE character has several distinct advantages over PvP characters
1. Four weapon slots instead of two.
2. The ability to carry extra armor pieces

The former allows for greater flexability when setting ur build before a match and is a time saver as all you have to do is change skills (and now with a prof changer in the area - change secondary).
For a PVP only character to make these changes, it's delete and rebuild.

In the middle of a fight, a ranger for example, can swap to their tamers mask with sup bm rune while laying EoE and then switch back to their hunters mask with sup exp rune or w/e.

If you look, most, if not all, of the top guilds pretty much use PvE characters exclusively.

hmm if this game was for PVP mainly,... why is there 700 skills

all u see in pvp is 2 types of group build....iway and vim....so 16 skills would be enough if it was for pvp.

time to nerf the iway and vim skills like they did with ele's...eles owned balanced, they whine and it gets nerfed...what happened...all u see is iway and vim....
